10 years ago, we launched the UK's first range of fabric gift wrap!

It was in the spring of 2014, after many months of planning, plotting and research, we launched the first fabric gift wrap products in the UK. We had studied the Japanese art of Furoshiki along with the world of sustainable fabrics and come up with a range of products that we thought would game changing in the wasteful world of gift wrapping. Later that year as we geared up for our first Christmas, some pivotal moments occurred. The first was getting featured in the Guardian by Lucy Siegle, under the title Green Crash. At that time Lucy was leading the way in sustainable everything and needless to say our enquiries exploded - thanks Lucy!. The second big event was landing a concession at Selfridges for that Christmas, another moment that really set us on our way.
There have been ups and downs along the way but today, we are delighted to see the world of wrapping bursting with an array of highly creative and beautiful sustainable wrapping products. Long may it continue.
So as a bit of nostalgia, here we are at Sew It Forwards doing one of our first every wrapping demos... how time flies!
